Ford Motor Company has issued a safety recall for certain 2011-2019 model year Ford Explorer vehicles, impacting around 1.9 million SUVs in the United States. This recall, which Ford refers to as Recall #24S02 or NHTSA Recall #24V-031, involves an issue with the exterior trim on the A-pillars that could create road hazards if the pieces detach while driving.
